This stack enables you to record all your videos and similar media in a easy, quick entry format. You can then come back and print them all, mark some for later retrieval, save them all as a TEXT file, find a specific item in one of the entries, and much more.
This stack took a long time to make, and has several nice features that will appeal to almost everyone. There are three different “modes” that you can turn on or off. Edit Mode allows the user to change any entry, click any button, and do everything in the stack. If Browse Mode is turned on, all the fields become locked and some of the buttons are disabled. Marking, printing, finding, and saving is still enabled. You can set the active startup Mode in the Preference dialog. The Preference dialog can also be password protected with a password of your choice, stopping anyone from changing the settings.
*Using This Stack
----> <----
When you start up this stack, you are shown a small, simple splash screen. Click on it, and it will go away. The menu bar is changed; the Tools, Objects (if available), and some of the menu items in the other menus are disabled, and two new menus appear to the right of the others. One is called “Options” and contain menu item equilivants to the buttons in the card. The other is “Mode” which contains the Edit Mode, Browse Mode and Help Mode menuItems. It also contains the Preference menu item.
To enter in the fields, click on one of them, or press tab to select the first one. Turning on the Help Mode will explain what each field does. To turn it on, select Help Mode from the Mode menu. To go to the next field, click on it, press tab, or press return. If return didn’t work, try it again.
The rest of the stack is explained in the Help Mode. Just run the mouse over the button or field in question and you will get a brief explanation of the button or field.
